Our client is a supplier and designer of promotional articles and gifts over more than 20 years. It is a Dutch company but they have offices and agents in countries such as Sweden, Germany, France, Spain, the United States, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Because of the strong presence in China and the design studio it makes it possible to be at the very front of developments in the branch. Job description

You will be handling all client productions in the Far East. This will also include products that are produced specifically for the customer and these will not be first stored in a warehouse. All the products are customized so customers can create the product with their own logo, customize the color or add their own packaging. You build up and manage customer relations, calculate, enter and follow-up on offers, you pay attention to the needs of the customer and try to fulfill these within the possible opportunities. Pro activity and initiatives are valued as well as providing possibilities and creative solutions. Furthermore sales, cross-selling and proactive calling will also be a part of your position. 
You work within the Sales & Trading team and close with the Product Development department, the Supply Chain department, the factories in China and with your colleagues within the printing facility in Romania. You will also stay in contact with the customer on a daily basis. Together with your team you will be responsible for achieving the set sales targets. At certain times of the year, fairs will be held for the promotional products industry. You will also join some of the fairs if needed.

Requirements

You have a commercial mindset and you are excited to use the opportunity to upsell. Because of the diversity in this position you are someone who is organized as well and able to prioritize. You will be handling your own accounts so independent working is a must. At the same time you are a team player! 
- MBO/HBO level 
- Near native level French
- Business level English
- Experience with MS Office and preferably with ERP systems
- Committed, reliable and flexible
