As a product information specialist you serve as the face and voice of the company and it’s brand. This vital position requires a technically oriented, flexible problem-solver who will assist clients in resolving any and all client facing technical and product information inquiries as well as recommending appropriate products to clients driving revenue growth.
You will strive to make it easy to do business with us, solving client issues, while celebrating their value to us. You act as a consultant by recommending the right products and helping clients with design-in solutions.
On a daily basis this means you will deliver extraordinary customer experience on every interaction. This will be done by evaluating, analyzing and resolving technical inquiries, providing product information. Next to this you will ensure a thorough understanding of product needs through proactive communication with the customer that correctly resolves requests on the initial contact and recommend correct product for customer applications and help with design-in solutions. Growing and nurturing the client relationships on every interaction that results in measurable customer value - move inquiry to a sale by discussing purchase point, stock and availability is also part of your daily tasks. You will also offer custom technical solutions that will benefit the clients. You will offer this support and solutions through phone, email and chat. Next to the clients, you will also support your colleagues at other departments as production, sales, engineering, logistics and others if needed. You will also liaise with these departments to solve client’s inquiries and requests.
The right candidate for this position has a BA degree in Engineer, technical customer support experience, has a passion for building relationships with clients and has strong written and verbal communication. Next to this you are resourceful, able to influence people and are good consultant. You get energized by a desire to help and connect with people and demonstrate the ability to maintain progress on multiple tasks, set priorities and manage time efficiently. Ability to work in a shift based environment and a real team player. Lastly you speak German on a native level and are fluent in English.
