Working alongside the Creative Manager & also on occasion with other designers & project managers in the Creative Solutions team, the Designer will create collateral for print, signage, online & other digital uses for Routes, ASM & other UBM brands. The Designer will produce appealing visual content that will strengthen messaging & enhance customer experience whilst maintaining brand appearance & continuity for UBM products.
Principal duties and responsibilities
Produce & amend artwork for a variety of products, including websites, digital newsletters, brand identity, advertising, magazines, brochures, direct mail, signage, video, animation & exhibition displays
Develop original concepts or work within existing brand guidelines
Support the Creative Manager in effectively delivering creative assets, working with relevant stakeholders & within agreed timescales
Ensure customer Insight and testing are integrated into creative work (where appropriate)
Be a UBM brand champion, focusing particularly on Routes & ASM, ensuring a consistent approach & upholding brand integrity at all times
Demonstrate creative thinking & innovation in day-to-day work
Keep up to date with current trends & techniques in design, technology & creative software
Communicate openly & solve problems proactively, working as a positive & engaged team member
Education to degree level
Ability to work quickly from concept creation to finished product
Creative flair & a strong visual sense
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications and basic html
Ability to understand clients’ needs & consider practical solutions
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritise & balance work across several projects at the same time
Good team work & communication skills
